Migration. Terrorism. Brexit. Europe has more than its fair share of challenges at the moment. But what do citizens think about these issues? And what would they say to EU leaders?

For the first time ever, Debating Europe will be hosting – together with Euronews – a live YouTube interview with Jean-Claude Juncker, the President of the European Commission, at 11.00 CET on 15^th September.

President Juncker will be responding to questions from a panel of prominent European YouTubers – Jonas Ems, from Germany; Lukasz Jakobiak, from Poland; and Laetitia, from France – as well as questions from citizens on some of the key issues facing Europe.

In the past, Debating Europe has brought citizen questions directly to then-EU Commission President, José Manuel Barroso, and then-President of the European Council, Herman Van Rompuy. Now, it’ll do the same thing with Jean-Claude Juncker.

After the live YouTube debate, Debating Europe will be hosting three follow-up online debates – looking in closer detail at some of the issues brought up.
