ABC | Europe is more concerned about natural disasters than armed conflicts

Supporting the green transition, fostering inclusive and sustainable growth, making democracy work for all and strengthening security and resilience are the themes highlighted in the new ‘ Debating Europe ‘ report with the support of the European Commission on the main concerns of European citizens.

The study ‘Voices-Citizens speak!’ has taken as a sample the statements of 2,024 members of seven countries of the European Union (Belgium, France, Italy, Germany, Poland, Spain and Sweden). Climate-related natural disasters have been described as “the greatest challenge of our times.”
