AU and EU welcome Africa-Europe Foundation role in catalysing renewed partnership into action

Member states of the African Union and European Union have taken key commitments, grounded on strong will, expressed at the highest political level, to renew the partnership to be “the driving force in promoting our common priorities, shared values, international law, and preserving together our interests and common public goods” and to address both the immediate opportunities and challenges, as well as the long-term potential offered by a strengthened partnership.
