“We don’t have special research or data that an e-cigarette is healthier than the traditional cigarettes,” Latvian Health Minister Hosams Abu Meri told Morning Health Care on the sidelines of a Friends of Europe’s health event on Tuesday. Riga is one of the EU capitals that has been lobbying for EU action on vaping, and the research that Abu Meri is relying on says that around one in three young people in the country have vaped.
